SCF Strategy Discussed in Consultative Meet At SCERT

In the light of the perspective of the National Education Policy, NEP 2020, Coordinator, State Curriculum Framework (SCF), G H Reshi of the ERSA Wing, SCERT, convened a consultative meeting of the Member Secretaries to chalk out the strategy with regard to the development of position papers on various themes. 

The inputs so gathered will be used for the UT Curriculum Framework in the areas of School Education, ECCE, Teacher Education and Adult Education. Reshi stressed on the need to adopt a bottom-up approach in the preparation of the position papers in order to develop the National Curriculum Framework as envisaged in the NEP 2020.

Reshi informed the meeting that 25 Focus Groups based on equal number of themes broken further up in three categories viz., Curriculum and pedagogy, Cross Cutting Themes and Other Important Areas of NEP 2020, have been constituted for the development of the position papers.
